Mothers Returning to Work

Overview: Parenthood disproportionately affects women’s economic empowerment and ability to participate in the workforce. Parent-friendly work practices can help to improve gender representation in your organisation. One of the biggest opportunities you have to make a lasting impact is when mothers return from maternity leave, especially the first 90-180 days. In this session, you will learn practical ways to support new mothers who are returning to work after having a child, so that they feel safe, empowered and valued as they navigate this challenging, career-defining transition.
