Reverse Racism

R

‘If we apply a power analysis, then reverse racism is not possible because people of color do not have enough institutional and structural power to be racist; though they can be biased or prejudiced. The same is true of “reverse sexism.” Despite any bias or prejudices that women may have, they do not have enough institutional/structural power to “oppress” men.’

Personal accounts

Honestly, this one is tricky but I still think that you can’t oppress the oppressor, and therefore you can’t be racist towards white people. I actually got into an argument with a man who I would play video games with. He said my view was conservative, but I think if you believe in reverse racism, then that view is conservative

It should be highlighted that this is not a good argument in issues of racism and white people are to be allies rather than make issues about themselves
