Personal accounts

Islamophobia, for a country that lives in constant demonisation of Islamic culture, it can be hard to be a proud Muslim and at times, microagressions can become so bountiful and overwhelming that it makes you question your own faith. Not only that, but seeing other countries do even worse ; for example, France’s halal meat and hijab ban, which is based entirely off misinformed opinions regarding both the topics, and America’s travel ban on Muslim countries; all these rulings designed to restrict Islam and Muslim cultural identity has really upset and distressed me personally, as well as many other Muslims.
